 Poche Plantation Hosts 2nd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival  

Convent, LA (Sept.18, 2015)- Poché Plantation, a New Orleans Plantation Country Attraction, is hosting its 2nd Annual Plantation Arts and Crafts Festival on October 24th-25th.  Top arts and crafts vendors will gather on the grounds of the historic property offering a broad range of products including artwork, jewelry, candles and Cajun/Creole cuisine.

 This year’s festival will include a Jambalaya Cook-Off, a Cracklin Cook-Off, a  Red Bean Gumbo Cook-Off  and a 5k Fun Run.  An Acoustic String Jam will take place throughout the festival providing live music. Costumed guides will give tours of the nationally registered historic antebellum home during the festival weekend.

  All proceeds from the Poche Plantation Arts and Crafts Show will benefit various charities and organizations throughout the communities of St. James Parish.
